Detail of weaving by D. Y. Begay

Who knows how long? Perhaps I’ve always likened life to a masterful story unfolding. Written yet always refined. Designed, with room for new inspiration. An enduring family forever recreating. Knowledge, with no end to discovery.

I also believe in One who weaves every moment - each of our lives, all that is or has been or will be in this unfathomable existence - like threads held in loving hands. We humans aren’t just characters but co-creators. Kids who get the whole inheritance and live to share it. We do fumble, fail, fight, and even destroy. We make inconceivable mistakes. Still, Love is never far. Sometimes it's only hidden.

I started this blog nearly a decade ago to tell stories from my days, with an intentional eye on this glorious vision. A tapestry. To speak hope and attest to redemption, reconciliation and communion. My tag line was LONG: what we do with what we find the Creator Redeemer weaving. (Ha ha. Maybe too long.) Though I've hardly written here over the last few years, I’m still enjoying the story

Let’s take a look together and celebrate.
Unfold the Tapestry.
